Objective

To provide some capital growth over the short to medium term while also maintaining a moderate to high level of capital stability and a low probability of a negative return in any one year.

Target

Exceed inflation by around 1.5%-2% per annum, over rolling 3-year periods.

Investment profile

Invested in a mix of assets, with a higher weighting towards assets that provide a level of capital stability.

The investment profile is:

  • 30% growth assets
  • 70% defensive assets

Level of risk

Low risk. Negative returns expected 1 year in every 7-8 years.
